to ever make me draw ever again:

A rose.

Yet, why limit it at that? Any flower at all. I swear to you all that there is no way I'll put myself through this mentally exhausting hell any time soon after I finish this damn thing! And I must finish it!

I refuse to fail at drawing a damn flower!

So I'm thinking he's given me no choice but to draw him, yeah?

Japan

So last week my friend Bodie and I booked a flight up to Tokyo for later this year, and for some reason I've only JUST come up with the idea of getting a tattoo.

And I am now excited like a six year old on Christmas Eve.

Before the idea came about, the original round-about plan was to spend two weeks there. Tokyo and Kyoto. But now... assuming an appointment with a great artist can be booked, we'd need the two weeks in one city to be stabbed at if we want a reasonably sized tattoo.

Then I looked into fantastic artists and there's one, Horiyasu, who just happens to be streets away from where we're planning on staying in Tokyo! WTF? How is this so perfect???

Now I have nagging thoughts on my mind like: finding/making friends to play Interpreter, how much would he cost (probably a LOT), what's his timeframe like, how and when should I book an appointment (maybe soon), is this awesome idea even realistic (sure), if yes what should I get (a dragon. coloured.), where should I have it (left rib-back), how big should I let him make it (reasonably big), oh my stars will I be able to sleep tonight? (most likely no)...

I'd probably only be able to get an outline and some shading done and hope to go back in the near future to finish it off.

Overall I enjoyed the film, but would have loved a more depressing ending.
